After studying Mathematics, Thilo gained experience across the financial and consulting sectors. He began his career in Risk Management for Life Insurance before joining Bain & Company as a Strategy Consultant, where he specialized in business optimization and enhancing client satisfaction within the financial industry. Since joining Munich Re in 2010, Thilo has spent recent years as a venture builder, developing and scaling SaaS solutions that leverage video technology and AI-driven data extraction for remote data collection. In 2024, Thilo transitioned to the Risk Management Partner team at Munich Re, where he now focuses on product management with an emphasis on insurance-related use cases.
