SCOR

Simos is Global Head of Cat Research & Development at SCOR. He is an expert in atmospheric perils and climate change, leading a team responsible for cat model research, evaluation, and development. Before joining SCOR, Simos has worked in Guy Carpenter in London and in Zurich for more than 8 years and, prior to that, in Risk Management Solutions. By education, Simos holds a PhD in atmospheric sciences from EPFL in Lausanne and has also worked as atmospheric scientist in the International Space Science Institute in Bern.
