Ryan Jones
Director of Technology & Strategic Operations,
BMS Group
Ryan is a technical leader with extensive cyber risk modelling experience and ten years building international cyber risk insurance offerings. He has worked with dozens of top risk pros and sparred with panelists on some of the largest cyber security and insurance conference stages.
While BMS has given him a broad personal network and insurance knowledge that spans the vertical cyber insurance value chain, it continues to expand his practiced understanding of the horizontal lines of business such as energy, property, crime, and credit risk. Ryan’s most recent project was designing a from-scratch automated trading platform with Bloomberg (CRMX), and to roll out theirown corporate GPT.
They are currently partnering with a startup in the US to build AI tools for cyber insurance. Rather than simply direct the effort, Ryan insists on having his hands dirty, building working prototypes using Python and JS.
Ryan has managed to maintain his outsider skillset and passion for bringing creativity, technical curiosity, and agility to work, then bolstered it with insider knowledge.
