Luke Farmer
Catastrophe Risk Analyst
JBA Risk Management
Luke joined JBA in 2016 where initially his work focussed on the development of global flood maps. He played a key role in the ongoing evolution of the JBA Canada Food Map and 5m maps for countries like USA and Australia.
From 2020, as part of the loss model team, he developed flood catastrophe models and played an integral role in delivering substantive updates to several models, including JBA’s market-leading UK Flood Model. More recently, leveraging his flood map expertise, Luke has implemented enhanced components to improve the representation of flood risk in the USA and Australia through the development of these regional models.
