Dr. Firas Saleh is the Director of Model Product Management at Moody’s, where he oversees the model product development and strategy for Moody’s RMS North America Wildfire and Flood modeling solutions. He holds a Ph.D. in Geosciences and Natural Resources from Sorbonne Universités in France and has a background in water resources engineering. With over 20 years of expertise, Dr. Saleh has made significant contributions during his tenure at the federal government, industry, and academia, focusing on advancing climate risk modeling and infrastructure resilience. His exceptional service has earned him the prestigious U.S. Department of Commerce Gold Medal Award.
